Mustard with Ginger
A coarse grain mustard made with grated and powdered ginger root.
How to eat this mustard ...
It is a good accompaniment with fish, poultry and in stir-fries.
Recipe
Grilled Pork Spare Ribs
(Serves 4)
Ingredients:
- 500 g pork spare ribs
- 6 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 4 tablespoons Shaken Oak Ginger Mustard
- 3-4 drops Worcestershire sauce
- Lime juice to taste.
Method:
- mix the mustard glaze ingredients together in a bowl
- put the ribs on a roasting dish and spread the glaze over them
- allow the ribs to marinade for approximately 30 minutes
- cook in pre-heated oven at 200 C (400 F) Gas Mark 6 for approximately 40 minutes turning them 2 or 3 times.
- garnish with lime juice and thin slices of lime
- serve with fried rice
